Description: Australian knifemaker Towball Weightman is a friend of Mastersmith Bill Burke. His work is exceptional and shows a tremendous amount of skill at the forge.
The feather pattern damascus blade was forged from 15N20 and 1084 carbon steels. By forging closely to shape, Towball ensures optimal edge holding. The controlled pattern immediately grabs attention.
The guard is formed from ladder pattern damascus. Black fiber spacers surround a satin finished steel ferrule. This assists the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes.
The handle is formed from a solid piece of olivewood (Olea spp.). The presentation grade light toned wood has a tremendous figure. The handle is contoured for a secure, comfortable grip. It swells at the palm, moves into a slimmer waist and swells again at the end. The handle is extremely comfortable. This is a knife that you won't want to put down!
Exceptional work throughout!
