Description: Journeyman Smith Mardi Meshejian is one of the true innovators of artful knife designs. This knife is both creative and captivating with a playful blade that is both useful and enjoyable. This folder is a perfect blend of tactical art.
Mardi drew his inspiration for this knife from European straight razors. He forged the blade to shape from 1095 and 15N20 carbon steels. The bold ladder pattern is nicely visible from a distance. A large choil and thumb notch make it easy to choke up for more delicate cutting tasks. Don't be fooled by the blade shape because this knife has a razor sharp tip. The blade can be easily rotated out with one hand using the integral front tab and a liner lock securely locks it in place.
The handle is constructed from anodized titanium and features rare blackwood carbon fiber scales. This interesting variation of carbon fiber is side cut so you can see the stacked weave. The forged damascus backbar protrudes with a spike and a lanyard hole. The anodized titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
An excellent piece for carry or any collection!
