Description: This beautiful fighter was created by Bob Crowder of Thompson Falls, Montana. Bob sold his first knife back in 1985 and is currently serving as President of the Montana Knifemakers Association.
Bob forged the distressed zipper pattern damascus beginning with 1084 and 15N20 carbon steels. This ensures a keen long lasting edge that is both tough and chip resistant. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge. A swedge travels half way up the blade. The distal tapered spine and tang provide excellent balance in hand.
The handle is made from malachite stone and is perfectly dovetailed to front and rear 416 stainless steel bolsters. The bolsters have been scroll engraved by Gordon Alcorn of Bozeman, Montana. White fiber liners provide contrast between the damascus tang and the bright green scales. The contoured handle provides multiple comfortable grip options for a variety of tasks.
To keep the knife close at hand, Bob included a custom fitted leather sheath.
