Description: Fred Ott's work is exceptional -- showing off his tremendous sense of design and skill in implementation.
The multi-bar damascus blade was hand forged from 1095 and 15N20 carbon steels for a long lasting edge. A linear damascus central bar separates a twist pattern spine and edge bar. A distal taper creates an optimal balance.
The stacked handle is formed from madron (Arbutus menziesii) with ancient walrus jaw bone and dyed ash spacers. The handle is nicely contoured textured for a secure, comfortable grip.
The knife is accompanied by a Nordic influenced single seam leather sheath.
An exceptional addition to any collection and perfect for use out in the field.
