Description: The Twin raven pendant is a combination of symbols referring to Odin, the father of all gods in Norse mythology.
According to Nordic mythology, the two ravens Hugin and Munin, symbolizing thought and mind, flew over Midgard to gather news for Odin. They were often seen sitting on his shoulders whispering secrets in his ear. On the pendant you can see them on each side, cawing to the sky.
Gungnir was the weapon of Odin - a mighty spear forged by the Dwarves in the deep mountains. During Ragnarök, the end of the world, Odin will slay Fenrir (the wolf) with this weapon. On the pendant you can see the spear thrust through the center of the piece.
As a final touch to the pendant, a snake – a classic Viking symbol – is curled around Gungnir, guarding it for its master.
This pendant is made of 17g solid Sterling silver (92,5% pure silver). The pendant will be delivered in a luxurious gift box. A 50cm (19.68 inch) braided leather cord with antiqued sterling silver clasp is included.
