Description: Journeyman Smith Keith Fludder resides in New South Wales, Australia. He started making knives in 1989 is a full time maker.
Keith's knives are works of art that excel in performance. This bowie knife really shows his skill at the forge.
The long, clip point, recurve blade was forged closely to shape. The explosion pattern mosaic damascus immediately grabs attention and holds onto it. The high contrast pattern is a nice mix of bold patterns with fine details.
The handle is formed from red morrel burl (Eucalyptus longicornis). Red morrel has long been among my favorite woods. The warm red tones and convoluted figure set it apart. The stainless steel guard is perfectly fit to blade and hand. The surface is hand satin finished with a central hand textured line.
Exceptional work throughout!
