Description: This William Henry GenTac G30 I was made on Oct 26, 2007. It has been in a private collection and has been meticulously cared for. It is in new condition and by all appearances could have been made yesterday. The knife is accompanied by the original William Henry box, wood presentation case, and certificate. This knife is serial # 7GM-1291.
The blade is formed from a composite (san mai) with a core of ZDP-189 metallurgical stainless steel, HRC 67. This core material ensures unmatched sharpness and performance. The blade was hand-ground and hand satin finished. ZDP-189 provides one of the sharpest, longest lasting edges found in stainless steel.
The button lock and thumb stud are inlaid with citrine, which nicely complements warm tones in desert ironwood inlays. The wood is surrounded by front and rear titanium 'bolsters'. The handle is completed is a titanium deep carry pocket clip.
