Description: Herb Derr creates knives will an appearance that is captivating and immediately recognizable. The blade is a handsome birdseye pattern damascus with a vine pattern fileworked spine. The steel has been deeply etched and heat colored for high contrast. The carbon steel damascus blade will have excellent edge holding.
The ancient walrus jaw bone handle is well complemented by the stabilized buckeye burl spacer. The rounded handle fits very comfortably in the hand. A nickel silver guard and butt cap bring weight back into the handle.
Accompanied by a pouch style leather sheath inlaid with ostrich shin leather.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
