Description: Saibu is the Japanese word for details. The latest Seiichi Nakamura collaboration, the Benchmade Saibu (486) Saibu is the embodiment of the word. Windows within the contoured black G-10 handle, accented with cocobolo wood, trick your eye at every angle. A bamboo-styled, metal backspacer catches and reflects light. It is easy to keep this knife close at hand using the deep carry pocket clip.
The knife you will receive is from the first production run of 1200 knives made.
The satin finished CPM-20CV blade flows effortlessly into the handle and is topped off with matched cocobolo accented thumb studs. CPM-20CV is a martensitic stainless steel with a high volume of vanadium carbides for exceptionally good wear resistance. CPM-20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high vanadium stainless steel currently available. This results in superior corrosion resistance while maintaining high wear resistance.
This knife is a showcase piece worthy of even the most discerning pocket.
