Description: This EDC folder by Mastersmith Mike Vagnino is a perfect heavy duty knife in a smaller package.
The blade is formed from satin finished Carpenter CTS-XHP stainless steel. This US-made steel is an air hardening, high carbon, high chromium, corrosion resistant alloy. At Hrc 62-64, it will have exceptional edge holding! The choil lets you choke up on the blade for precision cutting tasks.
The blade easily fires open using the ambidextrous flipper mechanism. The blade has smooth action with no blade play thanks to the ball bearing pivot. The flipper tab is hidden by the bolster when the blade is deployed.
Zirconium bolsters meet nicely with silver twill scales providing an excellent contrast. The bolsters have been textured to provide a steadfast grip that is also very elegant. The scales surround titanium liners that have been jewel polished on the interior. Titanium screws, pivot, and barrel spacers have all been anodized a deep blue to bring colored accents. The pocket clip is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
Excellent fit and finish throughout!
