Description: This is an elegant, hand forged Camp Bowie. It is exquisite -- with a nice forward balance for a swinging chop. Whether chopping wood out in the wild or a cherished knife in a collection, the Bitterroot Camp Bowie is sure to be a favorite knife.
The blade was forged to shape from 80CrV2 carbon steel. This resilient steel will hold an exceptional edge while having good strength for chopping. The clip is fully sharpened. The blade features an heirloom quality hand rubbed satin finish.
The handle is carved from stabilized curly koa. It swells at the palm and toward the pommel for a secure, comfortable grip. The double guard is formed from antiqued 1018 mild steel. This is a knife you won't want to put down.
Accompanied by a hand tooled leather sheath by Nez Perce Saddlery.
Excellent fit and finish throughout!
