Description: Mastersmith Daniel Winkler created the Winkler II line in 2010. It is an alternate approach to an established tradition. Winkler Knives II is the result of processes Daniel Winkler developed over the past few years in order to provide axes and knives to teams within United States Army Special Operations and US Naval Special Warfare. Each piece in this collection bears the Winkler Knives II touchmark.
The Contingency is designed to be a easily concealable personal protection knife.
The blade is formed from 80CRV2 carbon steel with a non-glare Caswell finish. A distal tapered full tang means great balance and reduced weight.
Maple scales sit on the full tang for strength and durability. The handle is downturned to make it incredibly easy to pull from the sheath during concealed carry. The spine features the Winkler Knives touchmark.
The versatile Kydex sheath is designed to be worn inside the waistband for convenient concealed carry. The deep carry clip will ensure the knife will not shift during carry.
