Description: Australian born knifemaker Glenn Waters spent much of his adult life in Japan. His unique style combines Japanese and European aesthetics to create dramatic masterworks.
This Flipping Tanto combines a premium S35VN powdered metallurgical (PM) stainless steel blade with a textured titanium frame. S35VN has tremendous wear resistance coupled with high corrosion resistance and ensures a superior, high performing edge. The satin finished blade features an armor piercing tip. It rides on ceramic bearings and is easily opened using the flipper mechanism.
At 4.2 oz, the Flipping Tanto is light weight and fast. The handle is made from orange peel textured titanium and inlaid with carbon fiber. The titanium frame surrounds a partial titanium backstrap. The sturdy titanium lock is adjustable for if the lock face ever wears. The orange peel titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
Exceptional work throughout!
