Description: Swedish bladesmith Michael Andersson is a force to be reckoned with. His style is immediately identifiable and is very dramatic. The Swedish Hunter shows off his work at its best.
The two bar composite damascus blade is truly amazing! An explosion pattern damascus edge bar was forge welded to the twisted damascus primary bar. The combination is extremely elegant! 15N20 and 20C carbon steels ensure exceptional edge holding. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
The handle is formed from stabilized maple burl. The base of the handle is textured for a particularly good grip. The bolster is formed from stainless steel and is hand engraved by Micke. The engraving features traditional Viking knotwork.
If the knife didn't have enough interest to grab you, it is accompanied by a handmade twist pattern damascus sheath. The all-damascus construction is stunning and really show's Micke's skill at the forge.
Excellent work throughout!
