Description: This Scott Sawby "Robin" shows his work at its best. It has been in a private collection and has been meticulously cared for. By all appearances, Scott could have made it yesterday.
The Robin Folder uses Sawby's patented "Self-Lock" -- one of the most ingenious locking mechanisms found on knives today. Part of the beauty of this strong mechanism is that the harder you try to force the blade closed the tighter it locks - unless you know exactly where to push! A textured thumb pad on the patented lock makes unlocking the folder a breeze.
The handle features ancient mammoth ivory set between front and rear bolsters. The mammoth ivory includes burnt cream and caramel tones. The stainless steel bolsters were meticulously, deeply engraved by Luis B Sanchez. The double bolsters protect the mammoth ivory against damage if dropped. The frame has been fully fileworked. This sleek beauty is the perfect carry knife and will also easily feel at home in any collection.
