Description: Todd Begg found inspiration in knives made by the greats like Jimmy Lyle. After some time in the military he began making his own knives and fulfilling a childhood passion. He has won numerous awards and has garnered his own reality TV series on The Discovery Channel: >Blade Brothers!
The Anago is a fixed blade out of Todd Begg Design's shop. The blade is formed from Bohler N690 stainless steel. N690 is a super-steel created in Austria. It takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds onto it. Increased toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping. The blade is hollow ground for easy, quick touchups. The re-curve blade ensures efficient, quick cuts. The blade is completed with a durable Sniper Gray, non-reflective Cerakote finish.
A machined 'fuller' travels on the exposed tang above the handle and has decorative holes drilled inside (which also lighten the handle). One of these holes could easily be utilized for a lanyard if desired. Sculpted and grooved carbon fiber inlays widen the handle for a secure, comfortable grip.
The knife is accompanied by a two-tone TIE (Tactical Innovations Engineering) jump-rated Kydex sheath with Tek Lok. The sheath is a master-work on its own!
This knife has an amazing feel in-hand and is sure to be a knife you'll keep by your side, though it would also be at home in most any collection!
