Description: Kaj Embretsen's work has a meticulous precision not found anywhere else. Kaj's knives have become increasingly rare in the US and I was exceptionally pleased to have him offer us some of his creations.
The two bar damascus blade show's Kaj's skill at the forge. The damascus is extremely controlled and clear. The perfectly centered blade is easily opened using ambidextrous thumb dots. The backlock mechanism (also ambidextrous) is super-smooth and easy to use.
Front and rare bolsters are formed from Kaj's deeply etched damascus. They surround presentation grade mammoth ivory bark scales. The deep blue tones in the ivory is particularly rare. Both the liners and the backbar are meticulously fileworked. The handle is completed with a lanyard hole, integrated into the backbar.
Simply exceptional!
