Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius combined his skill at knifemaking with the Ukrainian bladesmith Greg Verizhnikov when he created this exceptional puukko.
The multi-bar damascus blade was forged to shape by Greg Verizhnikov. The highly complex multi-bar mosaic damascus blade was forged to shape from 20C and 15N20 carbon steels. The edge and spine bars are a tight firecracker pattern. The mosaic damascus primary bar is a beautiful complex twist. The blade is high contrast and very clear. It is absolutely exceptional!
The elegant stacked handle combines warthog tusk, mammoth ivory, dyed and stabilized birch, and oak. The front 'bolster' is formed from cream toned warthog tusk and is scrimshawed on each side. The combined colors and tones of the warthog tusk, mammoth ivory, birch and oak is quite enticing. The handle is nicely shaped for a secure, comfortable grip.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Swedish single seamed leather sheath.
