Description: This exceptional folder shows Tony Karlsson's work at its best. Tony began using steel forged by Vladic Daniluk. Daniluk is a Russian-born bladesmith now living in Sweden. He is well known throughout Europe for his exquisite control over damascus. Both the blade and bolsters show extreme control in the forge -- with virtually no distortion. The blade is well centered with smooth action and is easily opened using the flipper tab.
Front and rear mosaic damascus bolsters meet with mammoth ivory scales in arcs. The fit (which is quite difficult) is perfect! Titanium liners surround a damascus backbar. It is textured on the interior surrounding his mark, "T Karlsson". The titanium lines are textured and anodized.
Exceptional work throughout!
