Description: Swedish bladesmith Michael Andersson is a force to be reckoned with. His style is immediately identifiable and is very dramatic. The Swedish Hunter shows off his work at its best.
The two bar composite damascus blade is truly amazing! An explosion pattern damascus edge bar was forge welded to the twisted damascus primary bar. The combination is extremely elegant! The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
The handle is formed from stabilized spalted oak. Dark, dramatic spalting lines travel through the crosscut wood. The bolster is formed from stainless steel and is hand engraved by Micke. The engraving is of a central flower over basketweave -- a traditional Sami pattern.
The knife is accompanied by a wood sheath wrapped in leather.
Excellent work throughout!
