Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a flair for design. This long Puukko shows his work at its best!
The multi-bar damascus blade was forged to shape by Vladic Daniluk. Daniluk is a Russian born bladesmith now living in Sweden. He is well known throughout Europe for his exquisite control over damascus as well as his dramatic hunting knives.
The elegant handle combines masur birch with warthog tusk and buffalo horn. The natural wood has been stabilized so as to hold up well to temperature and humidity changes. The wood is beautifully carved for a secure, comfortable grip. Front spacers alternate black buffalo horn with blond warthog tusk. Nickel silver spacers are set between bolster sections. The buffalo horn bolster is artfully scrimshawed.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Swedish single seamed leather sheath.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
