Description: Bob Beaty specializes in hunting knives. This upswept hunter will be perfect as a cherished knife to be passed down through generations. Its fit and finish ensures it will be at home in virtually any collection.
By using a cryogenic heat treatment, Bob is able to ensure exceptional edge holding. The blade has been hand fileworked along the spine for a sure thumb purchase. A distal tapered blade and tang result in a perfect balance.
The box elder burl handle has been stabilized so as to hold up well to the strenuous demands of outdoor use. The dramatic, swirling grain structure is complemented by a kudu horn spacer. Alternating brass and red fiber spacers bring out the natural warm tones of the wood and assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes.
This knife fits very well in the hand and is accompanied by a pouch style leather sheath. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
