Description: Bradford Knives are made in the Pacific Northwest. His background working in an aerospace machine shop is clearly evident in these high performance knives.
The Guardian3 Flipper (G3F) is a folder designed with hard use in mind. The blade is formed from premium M390 powdered stainless steel for extreme edge retention, high strength, and the toughness that a hard-use knife demands. Because of its uniform micro-structure and stainless properties, M390 is often used in surgical cutting instruments and other applications that require a high finish. A long swedge helps reinforce the tip of the knife. A stonewash finish reduces light reflection and hides any scratches you may add to the knife. The blade can be easily deployed using the ambidextrous flipper toggle. The action is silky-smooth and the blade is perfectly centered thanks to a caged bearing system.
The handle is formed from stonewashed titanium. An open frame set on barrel spacers keeps the knife extremely light for its size. Jimping along the spine creates a secure thumb purchase. A large choil cutout works together with the flipper tab to create a guard that prevents your hand from slipping over the blade. The left side has been machine grooved to increase traction while in hand. Blade lock up is ensured with a sturdy frame lock. A drilled hole is included in case a lanyard setup is wanted. Includes a titanium pocket clip that is mounted for tip-up carry.
