Description: Research projects, R&D lab tests, and many miles of field research provided the foundation for the design and development of Benchmade HUNT. Built from advanced materials usually reserved for spaceships and surgical equipment, these technologically advanced hunting knives provide refined performance and rugged durability.
The Saddle Mountain Skinner (15003-2) is perfect for meat cutting and skinning chores. The recurve blade is comprised of satin finished CPM-S30V premium stainless steel. S30V is an amazing crucible steel known for its superior edge holding ability, as well as its corrosion resistance. A TRUE stainless steel, CPM-S30V requires little maintenance and out-performs other steels like D2 by 619%. A gut hook has been added to assist in the splitting of skin during gutting operations of field dressing.
The Dymondwood scales provide a nice non-slip surface. Jimping along the spine, thumb ramp, and along the tang provides a solid grip. The tang extends beyond the scales and has been drilled for a lanyard.
Includes a leather sheath for carry.
