Description: There is just something very elegant about the clean Scandinavian lines of this knife. The fit and finish on this bird and trout knife is some of Roger's best. The handle fits very comfortably in the hand and the finish on the antler is very smooth. The Irish Elk is a near-mythological creature native to Europe, Northern Asia and Northern Africa that became extinct over 9000 years ago. Most archeological examples have come from Ireland, hence the name "Irish Elk". I am always impressed with Roger's ability to create knives with the most spectacular exotic materials. His knives have an ageless sense of grace.
