Description: Ole Pedersen was born and raised in Denmark but now hails from Washington State and is an up and coming knifemaker to watch. His work shows tremendous attention to detail and has clean, crisp lines. Makers such as Bruce Bump and Todd Begg have guided Ole in the art of knife making. The Black Wave folder is the first folding design from Ole Pedersen and it's an amazing knife.
The 3" drop point blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel hardened to 60-61HRC with a stonewashed finish. It uses a precision caged bearing system that leaves virtually no blade play. The blade is perfectly centered and silky smooth -- easily opened with one hand using the ambidextrous flipper. The detent on the flipper is phenomenal. A long swedge travels along the spine to ensure a strong tip and reduce weight.
The handle is aerospace-grade carbon fiber with oxidized and stonewashed titanium liners. The large choil and the thumb cutout in the handle make it extremely comfortable to grip. The backspacer and pocket clip are also milled carbon fiber which keeps the weight down on this compact flipper.
Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
