Description: Knives by National Living Treasure and Master Bladesmith Jerry Fisk are quite hard to obtain, considering his substantial wait list. This one has been in a private collection and has been well cared for. It is in new condition and by all appearances could have been made yesterday.
This Bowie knife has an exceptional sense of presence. The blade was forged to shape from 5160 carbon steel. A hand rubbed satin finish lends an heirloom quality. The blade is stamped "Fisk" on the left ricasso and "MS" (Master Smith) on the right. The clip is brought just shy of fully sharpened.
The stag handle is nicely downturned for a comfortable, secure grip. Both the oval guard and ferrule are formed from antiqued mild steel.
Excellent work throughout!
