Description: Bradford Knives are made in the Pacific Northwest. His background working in an aerospace machine shop is clearly evident in these high performance knives.
The Bradford Knives Guardian5 is a heavy duty fixed blade built to withstand the toughest applications. It is a favorite amongst military and law enforcement – both on and off duty. Whether you’re looking for a knife to aid you while fishing, camping, providing first aid or just for protection, the Guardian5 has got you covered.
Bradford Knives uses CPM-3V carbon steel, providing maximum resistance to breakage and chipping in a high wear-resistant steel. The blade has a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating which creates a non-reflective surface, prevents scratches, and adds a tactical look. The Sabre ground blade has been double tempered and cryo treated for maximum edge holding. While the blade was designed for heavy duty chores such as chopping, prying and batoning, it also has a notched thumb ramp and choil for superior cutting control.
Black/blue G10 handles, which measure 1/2 inch thick, are diamond textured to offer a secure grip without being abrasive. G10 scales are set on a full tang via 416 stainless custom fasteners heat treated to 42 Rc and tumbled.
Each knife includes a premium David Brown Kydex sheath with drain hole, which can be mounted easily with a Tek-Lok belt mounting system (not included).
Bradford Knives are made in the Pacific Northwest, and while relatively new to the knife making scene Bradford Larkin is well-versed in machining and has a passion for knives that is clearly evident.
