Description: Henry Hilden is a master of the Swedish Bowie and this one is among his masterpieces!
The 7 inch blade was forged by hand from three separate bars of twist pattern damascus. By combining three separate bars, Henry has created a blade that is particularly captivating in its complexity. He clean, dramatic grind lines, nicely complement the writhing steel. A .925 silver habaki (blade collar) separates the blade from the handle.
The handle is formed from a central section of presentation grade Arizona desert ironwood. Subtle carving in the wood adds a tremendous sense of sophistication. Alternating spacers are formed from stabilized birch and ancient walrus ivory. A large central 'bolster' and pommel are formed from matching mosaic damascus. Thin spacers throughout are formed from .925 silver.
The knife is accompanied by a handle tooled traditional Swedish leather sheath.
Simply exceptional!
