Description: Emil Bucharsky began this outstanding folder by forging the damascus blade from 1095 and 15N20 carbon steels into a pool and eye pattern. The blade is easily opened using the front flipper mechanism.
The same pool and eye pattern continues throughout the handle with a steel forged from 1095 and pure nickel. This allows for a very high contrast. The damascus scales are inlaid with an ATS34 stainless steel window frame. This in turn, has been inlaid with sections of polished ammonite. Ammonites are an extinct group of marine invertebrate animals in the subclass Ammonoidea of the class Cephalopoda. The ancient polished shells are particularly dramatic. Damascus backbar. The damascus is set on a titanium frame, keeping this knife fairly light despite the dramatic damascus used throughout!
Excellent fit and finish throughout!
