Description: Barry Gallagher's folders were a hallmark of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Unfortunately, he hasn't been making knives for a few years now. He was one of the folks that developed the Montana Boys style of folding knives. His work was meticulously performed. The exceptional auto has been in a private collection. It appears in near-new condition, other than that it has been sharpened.
The wharncliffe shape blade and bolsters are both formed from Barry's own mosaic damascus. The mirror polished steel was meticulously heat blued to brilliant blue, purple, and silver tones. Presentation grade whitelip mother of pearl scales are dovetailed to the bolsters for a perfect fit. The 15N20 carbon steel liners and backbar were meticulously hand fileworked and heat blued. The screws throughout are hand fileworked and heat blued. The knife is opened using the release button in the center of the left bolster. The release button is inlaid with a faceted amethyst. Exceptional work throughout!
