Description: The Barrage, designed by Warren Osborne, is a spring-assisted model with class as well as toughness. This version is one of Benchmade's Gold Class line and is a limited edition of 200.
Black carbon fiber scales have been contoured and sculpted, offering secure purchase in a variety of places on the handle. An inlay of very unique red C-Tek epoxy infused aluminum honeycomb adorn the scales. This is a new material that looks very cool and is unlike any other material available now. Crimson anodized aluminum barrel spacers separate the carbon fiber slabs.
This model has a drop-point blade with an ambidextrous thumb-stud opener. The blade is DLC coated M390 (HRC 60-62) with a hand polished convex edge. M390 is an Austrian made high performance steel with superior cutting ability and wear resistance due to its high concentration of vanadium and chromium carbides. It is one of the best edge holding steels that we've tested. The lock is Benchmade's patented Axis-Assist lock mechanism, which is a super simple, ambidextrous, and amazingly strong lock. A DLC coated split arrow reversible pocket clip is mounted for tip up carry.
This is number 43 out of 200 pieces.
