Description: Erasing the lines between custom and manufactured, it is a matter of satisfying the ultimate desire. Whether it is embellishing existing designs to loftier heights, creating entirely new ones, or even crafting a one of a kind experience from a collector's wish list, Benchmade Gold Class clearly sets the new standard of knife manufacturing.
This is a Gold Edition of Benchmade's popular Mel Pardue model 530 folder. The spear-point blade is acid etched and stonewashed M390. Dual thumb studs make this a very easy to open knife. This knife also incorporates Benchmade's patented Axis Lock mechanism, which in addition to being an exceptionally strong lock, also helps make the opening of the blade very fluid.
Contoured titanium scales are stonewashed and sport dual blue twill G-10 inlays. Unique blue anodized titanium spacers separate the frame. A polished stainless steel arrow clip is set for tip-up carry. The clip can be moved to the opposite side for left hand carry.
This knife is individually numbered #74 of 125 pieces made.
