Description: Journeyman Smith Bruce Bingenheimer makes an exceptional hunting knife. This knife is designed for outdoor use but will feel at home in virtually any collection.
The blade was forged to shape from a W's pattern damascus. The accordion pattern is quite complex and immediately captivating. The nickel silver guard and pin complement the wood nicely. The handle itself is made of presentation grade stabilized mesquite burl wood and offers a lovely multi-grain pattern. It is polished to a luster, but the carved wood offers an exceptional non-slip feel.
This piece is accompanied by a very nice, dark brown leather sheath -- hand-stitched and molded to shape around the knife for a perfect fit. It was hand carved and textured.
Damascus Mesquite Hunter is a knife capable of heavy duty work, but with a simple beauty and ergonomic feel.
