Description: As an avid hunter, Randy knows how a good hunting knife should perform. He loves to "field-test" his designs and feels that a quality knife should not only look great, but perform well as a tool. This one-of-a-kind clip point hunter is no exception.
The hollow ground CPM 154 Powdered Metallurgical stainless steel blade is hardened to Rc59-60 so as to ensure that the edge will remain razor sharp through the most difficult tasks, yet will be easy to sharpen. By mirror polishing the blade, Randy gives the blade an heirloom quality appearance.
The handle is formed from 11 stacked layers. A center piece of California buckeye burl is combined with layers of maroon micarta, oosic, and red amber. Black fiber spacers alternate with nickel silver, assisting the handle to adjust to changes in humidity and temperature. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
