Description: South African knifemaker George Muller is well known for creating exceptional knives with exotic materials.
Both the swayback blade and the bolster are formed from damascus forged by Chad Nichols from carbon steels. The patterns are immediately captivating - both from a distance and upon closer examination. The blade and bolster have been heat blued for a dramatic appearance. The blade is easily opened with a right handed knurled thumb stud.
Mammoth molar scales from Alaska are well matched in burnt cream and caramel tones with blue veins. The are set on brown G10 liners for strength and durability. Damascus bolsters are dovetailed to the scales for a perfect fit. Blue anodized titanium liners keep the knife light and strong and surround a Heimskriegla stainless damascus backbar by forged by Damasteel.
A cape buffalo hide sheath keeps the knife close at hand.
A gorgeous piece -- perfect to use and comfortable in any collection.
