Description: This Integral Throwing Knife was inspired by knives used during the Hundred Years' War. The Hundred Years' War was a series of conflicts waged from 1337 to 1453 between the Kingdom of England and the Kingdom of France for control of the French throne.
Mastersmith Christoph Deringer began forging this knife from steel recovered from ball bearings. The handle and flats are forge finished -- and show Christoph's skill at the forge. The cutting edge and tip are a near mirror polish. Befitting a throwing knife, the tip is reinforced for armor piercing.
This is a great piece and shows off Deringer's skills and design at its best!
