Description: Chuck Gedraitis is an American knifemaker from Holden, MA with a talent for conceptualizing unique tactical folders.
The Tactical Phoenix is aptly named due to the rare lightning strike carbon fiber scales used in the handles. Copper wire woven into the carbon fiber was originally designed for use in military jets as a means to safely disperse electricity from lightning strikes. It continues to be one of the hardest to get and most desired handle materials in the tactical arena. The body of the handle utilizes titanium liners and bolsters and features an open frame construction. The combination of these features results in an extremely light weight yet durable knife. Jewel finished titanium liners complete the look.
The spear point blade is made from satin finished 154CM stainless steel and features a swedge and a 3/4 hollow grind. An ambidextrous thumb disk and an elongated piercing allows for easy single-handed opening. A textured titanium pocket clip enables a right sided, deep pocket, tip up carry.
Nice fit and finish throughout!
