Description: Geno Denning's Chute Knife will be an exceptional asset in a collection or out in the field. This piece has been in a private collection since it was first made in 2005 and is in pristine condition. By all appearances it could have been made today.
The ATS-34 stainless steel blade was finished a fine bead blasted. It holds a keen, long lasting edge. The clip is fully sharpened. Denning's maker's mark, as well as the year the knife was made can be found on the left side of the blade near the choil.
The guard has been made out of a solid piece of carved G10 and is secured with a bead blasted pin. G10 scales sit on red fiber spacers and a distal tapered full tang for perfect balance. The handle swells at the palm resulting in a sure, comfortable grip, and is perfectly formed for either a hammer or ice pick style grips. A stainless lanyard tube completes the knife. Accompanied by a pouch style leather sheath with snap.
Geno Denning demonstrates his exceptional skill as a knifemaker in the creation of this chute knife. Truly an knife that will prove an essential asset in any collection at home or in the field. Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
