Description: Jeff Driscoll creates knives that transcend simply being a sharp object and move into true art.
The blade was forged and ground by renowned Danish bladesmith Poul Strande. It is high contrast and immediately grabs attention.
The handle is sculpted from Osage orange wood. Jeff created layers of the osage and stacked them, forming especially dramatic figure. African blackwood, turquoise, and mammoth ivory surround the osage orange. Thin copper spacers and domed copper pins highlight warm tones in the wood. The sculpting is entirely done by hand and shows tremendous ability as well as fit and finish.
The tiki sheath is carved from micarta, African blackwood, turquoise and mammoth ivory with copper detailing. The sheath playfully evokes Tiki art from Polynesia. The sheath can be set on a brass stand for elegant display. The base features a colored LED light that when turned on shines through the eyes, ear piercings and mouth.
Creative and inspired!
