Description: Captain Koyama's designs are truly innovative. He designs and develops his knives with unique locking mechanisms that immediately capture the imagination. This one features a mechanism called a C-lock -- a locking mechanism that we frequently get requests for. The blade is easily closed with a simple ambidextrous action. The base of the blade, below the bolster, is pressed down and forward, releasing the lock.
Jigged bone scales meet with damascus steel. These sit on blue anodized titanium liners. The liners are jewel polished on the interior. The knife is easily kept close at hand using the titanium pocket (mounted for tip-up carry). Excellent work throughout!
