Description: Captain Koyama's designs are truly innovative. He designs and develops his knives with unique locking mechanisms that immediately capture the imagination. This one features a mechanism called a reverse C-lock. This is a modification of his most popular and well known mechanism (the C-Lock). Here, the blade is locked both when open and closed. It is easily operated with a simple ambidextrous action. The top rear of the blade, above the bolster, is pressed down and forward, releasing the lock.
Carbon fiber scales are dovetailed for a perfect fit to titanium bolsters. The bolsters are anodized to a green tone with a hatchmark pattern graph moving across the surface. Blue toned arcs transverse the graph. These sit on blue anodized titanium liners. The knife is easily kept close at hand using the titanium pocket (mounted for tip-down carry). Excellent work throughout!
