Description: Strider Knives is an American owned and operated company, whose goal is the evolution of Problem Solving Tools. Around the globe, people stake their lives on Strider's edged tools. Because of this, no expense is spared when designing and manufacturing their products. Using only the finest materials and latest technology, Strider Knives continues to set the pace in cutting geometry, function and durability.
The CMFK is among Strider's larger fixed blades, with a blade measuring approximately 6-1/2 inch and roughly a foot in total length. Strider created the CMFK in collaboration with US Marine Sniper Charles Benjamin "Chuck" Mawhinney, and features his signature and the USMC emblem on the right hand side of the blade. Chuck Mawhinney served during the Vietnam War and is accredited as the USMC sniper with the most confirmed kills at 103, and an additional 216 'probable kills'.
The CMFK is modeled after the K-bar, a knife Chuck often used during the war. It features black stacked G10 scales for an incredibly steadfast purchase, and a double guard that ensures the hand will not slip forward over the blade. The clip point blade is made from premium CPM3V stainless steel and a 2 1/2 inch fuller on each side of the flats. The 3/4 flat ground blade is easy to maintain and sharpen. A clip point ensures consistency and precision with every stroke.
The knife is accompanied by a kydex lined cordura sheath. The Strider Chuck Mawhinney Fighting Knife is a great heavy duty knife!
