Description: Strider Knives is an American owned and operated company, whose goal is the evolution of Problem Solving Tools. Around the globe, people stake their lives on Strider's edged tools. Because of this, no expense is spared when designing and manufacturing their products. Using only the finest materials and latest technology, Strider Knives continues to set the pace in cutting geometry, function and durability.
The Sniper MT Mod 10 is one of Strider's intermediate-sized fixed blades, with approximately a 5-1/2 inch long blade and roughly a 10-1/4 inch total length. The Sniper is one of the knives made in collaboration with US Marine Sniper Charles Benjamin "Chuck" Mawhinney, and features his signature on the right hand side of the blade. Chuck Mawhinney served during the Vietnam War and is accredited as the USMC sniper with the most confirmed kills at 103, and an additional 216 'probable kills'.
The Sniper features a mil-spec 550 cord wrapped handle for an incredibly secure grip. A double guard ensures the hand will not slip forward over the blade. Aggressive jimping on the spine and a large choil offers a steadfast purchase when using a more forward grip.
The clip point blade is made from premium S30V stainless steel and features a sharpened swedge. The 3/4 flat ground blade is easy to maintain and sharpen.
The knife is accompanied by a kydex lined cordura sheath. The Strider Chuck Mawhinney Sniper is a great heavy duty knife!
