Description: Classical Dagger is an elegant piece. It has been in a private collection and has been meticulously cared for. By appearances, it could have been made yesterday.
The long, broad blade is formed from a bold random pattern damascus forged from carbon steels. It is hollow ground from ridge to edge. Bronze fittings bring out warm tones in the western desert myall wood. Western myall (Acacia papyrocarpa) grows in southern and western Australia. The deep brown wood is reminiscent of desert ironwood and has deep brown tones with fine texture. It is extremely dense and stable. David fluted the handle and inlaid twisted silver wire. Excellent fit and finish throughout!
