Description: The Mk41 (Airmen) is designed specifically for pilot/crew to egress from military fixed or rotor wing aircraft in the event of an emergency landing.
The Parkerized manganese phosphate finish (MIL-STD 171) provides rust resistance with a sturdy non-reflective finish. A 25 degree edge bevel ensures a strong and durable cutting edge. The Mk41 is equipped with features that will allow the aircrew to cut, punch and chop through aircraft aluminum, aviation Plexiglas, electrical cord and sheet metal. The double hilt steel guard protects fingers while in use. The pommel is formed from case hardened steel and features a conical glass breaker, lanyard hole & lock pin. The hidden tang handle is Micarta/G10 and is electrically insulated. The Mk41 is shock proof, water proof, field tested and service ready. This knife comes with a Lifetime Warranty and extended service. Accompanied by tactical sheath. The Mk41 is made with all American-made components & materials. Made in Nampa, ID, USA.
