Description: Mastersmith Daniel Winkler created the Winkler II line in 2010. It is an alternate approach to an established tradition. Winkler Knives II is the result of processes Daniel Winkler developed over the past few years in order to provide axes and knives to teams within United States Army Special Operations and US Naval Special Warfare. Each piece in this collection bears the Winkler Knives II touchmark.
Truly a multi-tasker, this knife is well suited to a wide range of chores and environments. A full skeletonized tang enhances overall balance without compromising strength. The handle shape and double guard provide security as well as various grip options. Wide bevels mean low cutting drag and unfailing performance. Sharpened serrations for sawing rope/fiber are located on the top of the blade, leaving the full length of the cutting edge intact. The desert camo KG finish is a baked-on treatment that is impervious to rust.
Accompanied by ambidextrous leather covered Kydex sheath.
