Description: This hunter features a 5-1/2 inch blade hand forged to shape from 1084 carbon steel. By differentially heat treating the steel, Bruce created a knife with a keen, long lasting edge and a supportive, durable spine. A hand rubbed finish lends an heirloom quality to the knife.
The nickel silver guard is precision fit to the blade and is followed by alternating nickel silver and G10 spacers. The G10 assists the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The handle is formed from minirichie wood. This Australian hardwood is highly prized for its stability. The wood has a deep brown tone with elegant curled figure throughout. The knife is accompanied by a pouch style sheath formed from cape buffalo hide. Excellent work!
