Description: Koji Hara's knives are well known for their precision and craftsmanship. His skill and style shine through this bamboo themed folder exceptionally well. The thumb stud has been inlaid with black lip mother of pearl. Jewel finished interior. The Cowry Y stainless steel is a powdered metallurgical steel not available in the United States. It is capable of a higher hardness without being brittle, ensuring a keen, long lasting edge.
Blacklip mother of pearl has been sculpted into the shape of bamboo throughout the handle. Stainless spacers separate each of the "bamboo" sections. The dark toned pearl has tremendous underlying texture and flash. The stainless steel backbar as well as the spine have been fileworked to match the bamboo theme. Exceptional work throughout.
