Description: This upswept hunter was created by Montana bladesmith Bob Crowder. The blade is formed Bob's own damascus forged from 1080 and 15N20 carbon steels. The complex pattern is immediately captivating and grabs attention. The blade is hollow ground, for a precision, easy to maintain edge. Mokume gane bolsters were forged from nickel, copper, and brass. The bolsters are dovetailed to 20,000 year old mammoth molar scales for a perfect fit. The ancient tooth has a nice mix of light and dark striations for a dramatic appearance. The scales are set on a distal tapered full tang, ensuring strength and durability. Accompanied by hand stitched leather sheath. Excellent work throughout!
